Dear Upham Families,
We would like to extend a warm welcome back to our returning families as well as the newest members of the Upham community. We are excited to start a new year filled with learning, laughter and fun filled with endless possibilities!
Our goal as the Upham Parent Teacher Organization is to help support programs that will encourage excitement and curiosity for learning as well as help foster new and existing friendships for all the children at Upham.
Your generous financial support will enable the PTO to support programs that enrich all Upham students’ social and educational experiences. In 2017-2018, PTO program initiatives will cost an average of $325 per student. While donation of any amount is appreciated, a contribution of $75 per student will help the PTO to continue programs such as:
• All field trip costs, including buses, for all grades
• Creative Arts and Science programs in every classroom
• Professional development and curriculum support for teachers
• Technology Curriculum (DreamBox, RazKids)
• Classroom Supplies for all grades
• Community Building Programs
Thank you in advance for all you do for Upham. From donating your time, acting as room parents, chairing events, and more, your efforts and generosity are much appreciated. We want to give a special shout out to our 2016-2017 auction supporters whose contributions make it possible to bring new grade-appropriate STEM reading to all classrooms and the library.
